Your Windows 10 PC is Getting a Game Mode

The latest Windows 10 update pushed to Windows Insiders has a mode that gamers will find particularly useful. The new Game Mode might make programs that optimize Windows 10 for gaming unnecessary as Microsoft wants to make the OS perfect for gaming.

The Creators update is rolling out first to users subscribers on the Windows Insiders program. The new section that appears in Windows 10 settings lets you enable Game Mode, and this optimizes the processor to dedicate most of its resource to the game.
In a blog post on its website, Microsoft said that it aims to make Windows 10 the best gaming platform and to keep improving the OS for better gaming experience:
Last year, we set out to make Windows 10 the best Windows ever for gaming. With Game Mode, it’s our goal to now take things a step further to make the gaming experience on Windows even better. Our vision is that Game Mode optimizes your Windows 10 PC for an improvement in overall game performance.
Apart from this, the latest update also comes with an in-built Beam streaming that lets you broadcast your gameplay. This will likely be rolled out to all users later in the year when Insiders have fully tested the build and all issues reported have been fixed.
